I have read many commentaries on Revelation, but none have ever been quite like this. It gave simple explanations which were easy to read and brought the last book of the Bible to life for me in a fresh way. What I like most is that the author does not try to explain away or avoid difficult verses; he interprets them in a way that I found compelling. His obvious insight into the words of Jesus left with a sense of awe; but not an awe of the author. It was an awe of the One about whom the book is written - Jesus Christ.
